I view the CycleTheatre like a microcosm of the real world. It’s a safe place to practice reacting to challenge, find self-compassion, and try out new perspectives with the support of our CycleBar community. The things I learn while cycling definitely help me outside of the studio: I’m better at rolling with the punches, handing the unexpected, and enjoying the tough things. I’m originally from Charleston, South Carolina, went to Clemson University for undergrad, and then moved to Nashville to go to grad school at Vanderbilt University. I took my first cycling class at the Vanderbilt gym and absolutely loved it, so trying out CycleBar when it came to town was a total game-changer and I was hooked! Outside of the studio, you can find me at work (school counselor at an elementary school), reading, or enjoying a meal with friends!
