I motivate my riders by reminding them that I am right there with them. There are days when it is not easy for me either, but knowing how great it feels afterward is what gets me there. We are all in this together.
I want my riders to feel accomplished and empowered because they took something that wasn’t easy and gave it their all. It doesn’t matter if you can’t reach every gear or rpm range. If you are giving if your best effort and working toward getting better, that is the accomplishment.
With each pedal stroke you are getting stronger. Strive for progress not perfection.
Riding out doors was always a fun hobby of mine, but when I started working front desk at CycleBar, I began to see how indoor cycling changes lives. I personally loved the classes and the energy, but to see how much it helped people grow made me want to be a part of it. It was one of the best parts of my day and I could tell it was the same for so many others. I knew I could help people reach their goals one class at a time.
